It makes me really sad to just find Art’s obituary. One of my first jobs was working with Art land surveying many summers and my last memory being a visit I paid him while going through treatment. My deepest condolences to his family. Rest In Peace Art, no more running from yellow jackets down a cut line!

Art was one of our dearest friends growing up in Camden. We played volleyball out at the state park, went camping multiple times, share vacations with groups of friends , and so many more wonderful times together. There was 12 of us girls that hung out together and Art was a part of us. We stayed in contact over the last 30+ years even up to the time of his death My dad said it best, “ Art, you are one lucky man to have 12 girls to be your best friend” Rest easy my dear Art. It is with a very heavy heart that I write this, as Art & I had known each other since Middle School & while he kept to himself in the last few decades I would see him every so often & it was always like no time had passed, we were in that whole East Camden clique back in the 70's & 80's & probably had more fun than should be allowed. Art was truly a good human being, he had smile that would light up a room whenever he walked in which I will always remember, that & his laugh man what a laugh he had, it was one of those contagious laughs! I am so happy that we knew each other, I never had many friends who weren't musicians but Art was one of those people you met & you just had to know them, you wanted them to be a part of your life. I will always cherish my many memories of him & hold them close to my heart, & do so with much love. Ciao for now my friend...
