LUGOFF – A funeral service for Louis Freeman, Jr., 71, will be held Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Unity United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Rev. John Dicks will officiate. Mr. Freeman passed away Saturday, December 21, 2019. Born in Augusta, GA, he was a son of the late Louis Freeman, Sr. and Rosa Lee Freeman. Mr. Freeman enjoyed yardwork and building. Surviving are his companion, Sallie Steron; one daughter; and siblings; Lula Freeman, Bertha Freeman, Edward Freeman, Doris Mike, Michael Freeman and Kennard Freeman. He was predeceased by a sister, Annie Power.
