Obituary of Sandra Jones Hood

LUGOFF – Funeral service for Sandra Jones Hood, 67, will be held on Friday at 2:30 p.m. at DeKalb Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. Burial will follow the service in DeKalb Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Mrs. Hood passed away on Monday, November 25, 2019.  Born in Camden, SC, she was the daughter of Johnny Jones (Earlene) and Eloise Sandy Fikley (Tony). She loved her family, her job at O’Reilly’s, and most of all, she loved her Lord. Sandra never met a stranger and was loved by all. The Hood family offers a heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported her during her illness.

Surviving is her husband, Roger Hood; children, Lance Newman (Alysha), Rocky Hood (Stacey) and Meradith L. Hood; grandchildren, Anna Newman, Dillon Newman (Tomoka), Caleb Hood and Garrett Hood; great-grandchild, Sumi Newman; siblings, Harvey Jones (Cheryl), Cathy Faulkenberry (Dennis), Wanda Ray (Earl), Debbie Baker, Tom Jones (Regina), Wayne Robinson and Carolyn Lucas. She was predeceased by her brother, Bert Robinson and sister, Sylvia Ray.
