KERSHAW – Funeral service for Jerry Francis Gambrell, 70, will be held Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. at Lugoff Church of God with burial to follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Mr. Gambrell, husband of the late Pamela Lynn Lutz Gambrell, died Saturday, October 26, 2013. Born in Anderson, he was the son of the late Luther Preston and Doris Inez Craft Gambrell. He served in the United States Air Force and was a Professional Wrestler. Surviving are his daughter, Lynn Branham (Robert) of Lugoff; step-children, Debbie Johnson and Brad Baliff; sisters, Pat Corder of Kershaw, Brenda Hornsby (Thomas) of Elgin, and Sandra Catoe (Jimmy) of Elgin; brother, George Gambrell of Kershaw; and 3 grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers, Pete Gambrell and Larry Craft.
