Obituary of Raymond Lee Schultz

LUGOFF- A memorial service for Raymond L. Schultz, 66, will be held Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. Angela Marshall and the Rev. Barbee Parsons will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's UMC Child Care Ministries (Daycare) .

    Mr. Schultz passed away Monday, November 18, 2019. Born in Abbeville, S.C., he was a son of the late Marvin Laverne and Rebecca Ardatha Schultz. Mr. Schultz enjoyed hunting, fishing, and flint napping.

    Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Phyllis Hawkins Schultz; sons, Paul “Nic” Schultz (Meghan) of Columbia; Lance Schultz (Fiona) of Lugoff; siblings, Becky Covar (Mike), Lynn Quarles (Keith) both of Edgefield and Ricky Schultz (Cathy) of Myrtle Beach. He was predeceased by a granddaughter Lainey Schultz.
