Obituary of Mary Price Walling

CASSATT- A time of gathering for Mary Price Walling, 95, will be held Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. A private family entombment will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Myers-Theil Pet Adoption Center.

    Mrs. Walling, wife of the late Herman Brown Walling, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2019. Born in Pikeville, TN, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Jesse Price and Emma Dee Keener Walling. Mrs. Walling retired from BF Goodrich and also worked at Hickman’s Upholstery, her family’s business. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching and travel.

    Surviving are her daughters, Emma Walling, Sondra Walling, Marsha Walling (Robert Hallam, Jr.); grandson, Jonathan Hickman; great-grandson, Tyler Jaramillo; and siblings, Frank Kell, Max “Bud” Walling and Jean Angel. She was predeceased by siblings, Wallace Walling, Marie Keener and Leonard Price.
