ELGIN- A celebration of life service for Rebecca Lynn Sanchez, 41, will be held Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3-4 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Sanchez passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2013. She was born in Langdale, AL. Mrs. Sanchez was a mother first and foremost. She loved her children and enjoyed going on trips with them and spending time with them. She was a vibrant person who was full of life and loved her pet dogs. She also enjoyed gardening, shopping, and music. Surviving are her husband of 7 years, Tizoc “Tito” Sanchez-Jasso; sons, Joshua Barber of Valley, AL, Dameon Robinson of Elgin, and Christian Robinson of Elgin; brothers, Sam Windsor of Columbia, Jeffrey Chase (Tersa) of Lannette, AL; sisters, Deborah Taylor (Ronnie) of Beulah, AL, Judy Norred (Larkin) of Valley, AL, and Denise Trailor of Woodland, AL. She was predeceased by her parents, Herbert and Dorothy Windsor; a brother, Michael Chase; and a sister, Angela Carrol.
