Obituary of Jeremiah Washington

CASSATT – A memorial service for Jeremiah Washington, 61, will be held on Monday, October 28, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Washington passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2019.  Born in Camden, SC, he was the son of the late Simon James Washington and Martha Jackson Washington. Jeremiah enjoyed boxing, landscaping and watching football.

Surviving is his wife, Juanita Pearl Kirkland Washington; children, Letrell Morris (Robert), Tamara Washington (Tremaine Fowler), Kyle Johnson (Shade Dodson) and Ariel Washington; 13 grandchildren; siblings, James Washington, Martha Patterson, Cennie Ruley, Thomas Washington, Beleathea Murphy and Paul Washington. He was predeceased by his brothers, Wallace Washington and Harry Lee Washington.
