Obituary of Rita Faye Anderson

CAMDEN – A service to celebrate the life of Rita Faye Anderson, 62, will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff.  The Rev. Todd Horton will officiate.  The family will receive friends following the service.  Memorials may be made to The American Stroke Foundation.

    Mrs. Anderson passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2019.  Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late William Kirby and Louise Hagan Gardner.  She enjoyed cooking, arts, crafts, decorating, and animals.

    Surviving are her husband, James Steven Anderson; son, Bryan W. McManus (Crystal) of Sumter; siblings, Brenda Golden, Lynn Lyons, Jerry Tidwell (Dionne), and Evelyn Simon.  She was predeceased by sister, Dorothy Ray and brother, Ben Tidwell (Claudia).
