LUGOFF – Funeral service for Carolyn Thompson “Cricket” Boykin, 63, will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Mrs. Boykin, wife of the late Warren Boykin, died Thursday, October 10, 2013. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late Coy Randolph Thompson Sr. and Reath Loretta Outlaw Thompson. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her son, Chris Thompson (Jackie) of Lugoff; daughter, Ami L. Teague (Ernest) of Lugoff; brother, Randolph Thompson; sisters, Patsy Williams, Lois Marshall and Hazel Williams; 11 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
