Obituary of Anthony James "Tony" Hall

CAMDEN – “The Gas Man,” Anthony J. “Tony” Hall, 55, passed away, Friday, August 23, 2019. Born in Lamar, he was a son of Gerri Amerson Lowrimore and the late James Mallard Hall. Tony enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his Harley. Most of all, he loved his family, friends and his Gas Man customers.

    Tony is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sherri Hinson Hall of Camden; two sons, Randall W. Hall (Lynn), Clinton J. Hall (Jennifer), both of Camden; grandchildren, Lexus, Keith, James and Julia; mother, Gerri Lowrimore (Bill) of Rock Hill; and a brother, Dwayne Hall (Michelle) of Rock Hill. He was predeceased by his father, Mallard “Duck” Hall.

     A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Hebron Freewill Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Shriner’s Hospital or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
