Obituary of Geneva Ray Lyles

CAMDEN – Funeral services for Jessie Geneva Ray Lyles, 77, will be held on Monday, August 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Lugoff Church of God, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The Rev. Timothy B. Shirley will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

    Mrs. Lyles, wife of the late Joe Lyles passed away on Friday, August 16, 2019. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Viola Parker Ray. She was a member of Lakeshore Church of God.  Mrs. Lyles enjoyed cooking.

    Surviving are her daughters, Lois James and Lisa Branham (Robbie); son, David Lyles (Tammie); sisters, Mary Alice Osmer, Louise Hall, Carolyn Morris and Sara Branham; brothers, Clennie Ray and Claude Ray Jr.; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by a son, Michael Lyles; brother, Charles Ray; sisters, Vera Stephens and Jessie Anderson.
