Obituary of Michael Thomas Redick

LUGOFF – A service to celebrate the life of Michael Thomas Redick, 57, will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Springvale Baptist Church.

    Mr. Redick passed away on Friday, July 26, 2019.  Born in Camden, he was the son of William D. and Ann Dease Walters and the late Donald Thomas Redick.  He was an avid Gamecock fan and loved watching football.  He was a caring, giving and forgiving man, loved by his large family and many friends.

    Surviving are his mother, Ann Walters (Bill) of Lugoff; sisters, Donnelle Redick Powers (Robbie) of Camden and Rhonda Redick Yeargin of Greenville; step-brother, Hugh Walters; nieces and nephews, Will Powers (Alana), LeeAnn Torres (Gustavo), Thom Powers, Carley Kersey (Brandon), Sam Powers, Lisa Powers, Kristen Culbertson (Dave), Ben Yeargin (Aylssa) and Cliff Yeargin; step-nephews and niece, Kaci King, Shane Munn (Mirandi), Dane Munn (Chelsey), Jake Walters and Blake Walters; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by step-sisters, Dr. Deb Walters and Cindy Munn; step-brother, Dr. William Walters, Jr.
