Obituary of Ruby B. Self Lynn

COLUMBIA –A celebration of life service for Ruby Mae Lynn, 67, will be held Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3-4 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Mrs. Lynn passed away Friday, July 19, 2019. Born in Chesterfield, she was a daughter of the late Leander and Gladys Sellers Boatwright. Mrs. Lynn enjoyed dancing, cooking, and working in her garden.

    Surviving are her son, Gerald Self of Columbia; daughter, Brenda England (Brian) of Elgin; grandchildren, Jessica Frazier (Tommy), Dylan England; sister, Betty B. Akahori of Elgin; nieces and nephew, Sharon, Tyron, Gladys, Robin; and several great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Lennie Self; and a sister, Mary Outlaw.
