CAMDEN – Funeral service for Anne Lois Gentry Segars, 89, will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Beulah United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Patricia Amick will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday 5-7 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Memorials may be made to Beulah United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Segars, wife of the late Harold H. Segars, Sr., died Tuesday, October 23, 2012. Born in Rocky Mount, N.C., she was the daughter of the late James Linwood and Martha Dudley Gentry. She was a member of Beulah United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, sewing crafts and her family. Surviving are her daughters, Elizabeth S. “Liz” Walker (Gerald) of Lugoff, Harold H. “Hal” Segars Jr. (Beth) of Rembert, and W. James “Jimmy” Segars Sr. of Camden; sister, Vida J. Beall (Holst) of Georgia; grandchildren, W. James Segars Jr., Benjamin Segars (Toni), Sarah E. Segars, and Harold H. Segars III (Helena); and 6 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, James Linwood Gentry Jr. and Edward Hines Gentry.
