Obituary of Wendy Carol Thompson

LUGOFF – A funeral service for Wendy Carol Thompson, 47, will be held on Monday, June 24, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Lugoff First Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Ms. Thompson passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2019.  Born on November 18, 1971 in Greenville, S.C., she was the daughter of Wayne Willie Thompson and Cynthia DeBruhl Thompson.

    Surviving are her children, Samuel Thompson, Sarah Thompson and Savannah Thompson; sisters, Ami Thompson Norris and Rebecca Thompson Watts (Greg); paternal grandmother, Reba Bradley Thompson; and maternal grandmother, Maxine Bailey DeBruhl.
