Obituary of Rachel L. Hickman

BETHUNE– A funeral service for Rachel Louise Hickman, 81, will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Catoe Chapel Church of God in Christ with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. James Lee will officiate.

    Mrs. Hickman passed away Saturday, June 08, 2019. Born in S.C., she was a daughter of the late Lucius and Docia Tiller Peebles. Mrs. Hickman was a member of Catoe Chapel Church of God in Christ. She enjoyed sewing, baking, and interior decorating.

    Surviving are her son, Joseph Peebles (Annie) of Bethune; granddaughters, Shelia Wright, Amanda Peebles; and great-grandchildren, Quandarius Mickle, Yasmen Dash, and Shemar Dash.
