Obituary of Doris Besok

LUGOFF – A memorial service for Doris M. Besok, 85, will be held Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. at El-Bethel Faith Community Church. The. Rev. Jeff Grubbs will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the church.

    Mrs. Besok, wife of the late Robert R. Besok, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019. Born in Batavia, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Allen and Martha Glor. Mrs. Besok was a member of Santee Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed gardening, golfing, painting, cooking, traveling, and offshore fishing.

    Surviving are her children, Wendy Carter of Lugoff, Michael J. Besok of Fla.; grandchildren, Jordan Reynolds, Nicole Todd, Kristin Moak; sisters, Elma Smith, Violet Caulter, Arlene Teal; and 5 great-grandchildren.
