I so loved my Aunt Murl , we were so close - so many happy memories ! I used to spend summers in Summerville with Murl and my favorite uncle Jack and I will always will cherish when they lived in Hickory .. my heart hurts for our loss but I know she's in Heaven with her family and Daddy's glad to see her ❤️

Sara, your mom was a treasure!! I loved her sense of humor, but my greatest memory is that she and Gloria Moore made my wedding dress and veil. I think your mom made my veil. It had lace scallops on it, and I remember each one took an hour or so to hand-sew. What a precious gift that was!! My mom adored your mom, and I know those two are sharing some laughs in Heaven! May you feel God’s presence and comfort in the days ahead.
