Obituary of Richard Darrell Berger

LUGOFF – A graveside service, with full military honors, for Richard Darrell Berger, 77, will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in Fort Jackson National Cemetery.

    Mr. Berger passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019.  Born on February 16, 1941 in Fremont, OH, he was the son of the late Wesley M. Berger and Marjorie Mason Berger.

    Surviving are his daughters, Missy Payne (Kimball) of Conway, Judy Buford (James Smith) of Lugoff, and Theresa Berger (Sam Majors Jr.) of Lugoff; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Vicky Myers Wallers. He was predeceased by his wife, Colleen E. Berger; siblings, Harry Myers, Rosie Diamond, Ivy McClory and Wayne “Moose” Berger.
