Obituary of David Jones

CAMDEN – A funeral service for David Jones, 83, will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Good Hope UMC Wesley Chapel, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 1hr prior to the service. Rev. Angela Ford Nelson will officiate.

    Mr. Jones passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018.  Born on January 26, 1935 in Kershaw County, S.C., he was the son of the late David Jones and Mary Lawson Jones. He graduated from Jackson High School in 1954 and lived in NY for over 50 years.

    Surviving are his sister, Frances Belton; Brother, Theodore Jones (Verline); nieces, Lisa Mills (Bruce) and Gabby Mills; nephews, J’Von Jones (Ethel), LaMont Jones (Caroline) and Brandon Jones. He was predeceased by his daughter, Sandra Lyles.
