Obituary of James C Crowley

CAMDEN – A funeral service for James C. Crowley will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Dekalb Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Bruce Marthers will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Thiel-Myer Pet Adoption Center.

    Mr. Crowley passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018. Born in Chesterfield, he was a son of the late F.M. Crowley and Minnie Boone Crowley. Mr. Crowley enjoyed fishing and going to the mountains.

    Surviving are his wife, Betty Railey Crowley; children, Darlene Crowley, James Crowley, Julie Crowley all of Hartsville, Marion Railey (Rachel) of Sumter, and Donna Hinson (Mack) of Camden; siblings, Janie Young (Marshall) of Camden, Evelyn McCain and Cornelia Crenshaw (Marion) both of Hartsville; 8 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
