Obituary of Sidney Clancy

CAMDEN – A memorial service for Sidney Skinner Clancy, 83, will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff.  The Rev. Todd Horton will officiate.  A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

    Mr. Clancy passed away at Springdale Health Care Center on Friday, December 14, 2018.  Born in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late George Butler and Maggie Skinner Clancy.  He delivered Oil for the family business Clancy Oil.  He was a former member of the Camden Jaycees.

    He was predeceased by sisters, Greta Clancy Miller and Margaret Clancy Rathe.  Surviving are his dear friends David and Anna Isgett, Allen Geddings and family, Moultrie Burns, and many other faithful friends who visited and spent time with him.
