STUART O. KRAUSE LUGOFF – A memorial service to celebrate the life of Stuart Orvin Krause, 68, will be held Friday, Nov 2, 2012 at 12:30 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia. The Rev. Leslie Jackson will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to DAV. Mr. Krause died Friday, October 19, 2012. Born in New York, N.Y., he was the son of the late Albert Carl Krause and Virginia Orvin Lesesene. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He retired from USAA Insurance Adjusters. Mr. Krause was a member of VFW and enjoyed sports and playing golf. Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Brenda Carol Jackson Krause; daughter, Karen Constant (Douglas) of Sarasota, Fla.; son, Stuart O. Krause Jr. of Brownsville, Texas; brother, Albert Krause (Phyllis); sisters, Dorothy Spiegelberg and Virginia Delatte; and a granddaughter, Rachel Constant.
