Obituary of Elizabeth Earle

ELGIN – Funeral service for Elizabeth Desaree Raines Earle, 80, will be held on Monday at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Raines Cemetery, Blythewood.  The family will receive friends Monday 2:00-3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

    Mrs. Earle, wife of the late Eugene Earle, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018.  Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Cletus and Rosalee Hammond Raines.  She enjoyed crafts, crossword puzzles and shopping.

    Surviving are her sons, Steve Earle (Grettle) of Lugoff and Mike Earle (Michelle) of South Congaree; daughters, Terry Hall (Marty) of Blythewood and Beth Dilback (Mike) of Columbia; brothers, George Raines and Donald Raines; sisters, Bobbie Charland, Linda Rugg and Angie Lucas; grandchildren, Alison, Michael Paul, Michael T., Julie, Mallory, Sarah, Matt, Casey, Derek, Tyler, Josh, Paige and Zack; and 17 great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by brother, Marvin Raines; and sisters, Anita Kelly and Peggy McKay.
