Obituary of Eveleen Elizabeth Vinson

CAMDEN – Funeral service for Eveleen Elizabeth Vinson, 92, will be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Wednesday 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. 

    Miss Vinson passed away at home on Sunday, November 4, 2018.  Born in Lancaster County, she was the daughter of the late Luther Vinson Sr. and Effie Bradley Vinson.  She was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.  She enjoyed quilt making and gardening.

    Surviving are siblings, Irene Ogburn, Luther Vinson Jr. (Frances), J.W. Vinson (Kathryn), Bill Vinson (Joann), Nell Davis, Stanley Vinson, Ralph Vinson (Vivian), Jean Rush (Buster) and Carroll Vinson (Sandy); sisters-in-law, Doris Vinson and Mamie Lou Vinson; and numerous nieces, nephews and their families.  She was predeceased by brothers, Charlie Floyd and Lewis Vinson; and brothers-in-law, Mendel Ogburn and Herbert Davis.
