Obituary of John Marshall Turner

LUGOFF – A memorial service for John Marshall Turner, 64, will be held on Friday at 12:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home.  The Rev. Greg Sweet will officiate.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  In lieu flowers, memorials may be made to Suicide Awareness.

     Mr. Turner passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018.  Born in Columbia, he was the son of William Ross Turner Sr. and Sadie V. Palmer Turner.  He retired from International Paper and enjoyed fishing and playing the guitar.

    Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Deana Hardin Turner; daughters, Brittany Turner (Brett Jeffers) and Allison Talley (Matthew); parents, William and Sadie Turner of Lugoff; brother, William Ross Turner, Jr.; and sister, Kimberly Turner Hinkle (Steve).
