LUGOFF – Funeral service for Elizabeth B. Brown, 85, will be held Monday at 4:00 p.m. at St. Matthew Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday 4-6 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Mrs. Brown died Thursday, August 22, 2013. Born in Fairfield County, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Monroe and Minnie Louise Butler Belton. Surviving are her children, Otis Outten, Mary Edmonds, Betty Butler, Thomas Outten and Millie Sumpter; step-sons, Henry Harris and Randolph Harris; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 11 great great-grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; and 2 step-great-grandchildren.
