Obituary of Shirley Ann Turner

ELGIN – Shirley Ann Turner, 65, passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2018.  Born on July 22, 1953 in Anderson, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Dorothy Hawkins Montjoy. Shirley was a loving grandmother, who was a strong, independent, hard-working woman.

    Surviving are her children, Jennifer Browne and Jason Browne; grandchildren, Maneria Browne, Joseph Steinwall, Justice Steinwall, Paxton Browne and Lucas Browne; great-grandchildren, Tyleighcia Lee, Michael Lee, Tykari Lee and Jaxson Steinwall; siblings, Tommy Montjoy (Brenda), Eddie Monjoy (Sherry) and Nikki Hawkins (Peggy). She was predeceased by her sisters, Mary Meetz and Joyce Ford; brother, Bobby Montjoy.

    A memorial service will be held at a later date.
