Obituary of Mark Anthony Griswold

CAMDEN – A memorial service for Mark Anthony Griswold, 56, will be held Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. Everett Reconnu will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2-3 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to an Autism Foundation or a Cancer Foundation.

    Mr. Griswold passed away Wednesday, October 03, 2018. Born in Camden, he was a son of the late Herbert Lee and Frances Pauline Carroll Griswold. Mr. Griswold was a member of Southside Baptist Church. He was an avid musician who enjoyed playing his guitar and was once in a heavy metal band called Masquerade.

    Surviving are his wife, Karen Halsall Griswold; children, Steven Hampton Griswold, Jack Hamilton Griswold; sister, Margaret Griswold; and a nephew, Darius Raeisi (Sri) of Greer. He was predeceased by a son, Michael Handley Griswold; and a sister, Mary Frances Griswold.
