Obituary of Jane Ellen Creegan Hardison

Camden – A memorial service for Jane Ellen Creegan Hardison, 74, will be held on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, 1285 Kershaw Hwy, Camden, S.C.  The family will receive friends following the service.  Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice or online at jw.org.

    Mrs. Hardison, wife of the late Marshall Hardison passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018.  Born in Riverdale, Md., she was the daughter of the late Joseph B. and Mildred Butler Creegan.  She enjoyed gardening and discussing the Bible with friends and neighbors.

    Surviving are her son, Steven E. McMannis of Camden; son-in-law, John William Jacobs, Sr of Wells, Maine; grandsons, John W. Jacobs, Jr., David A. Jacobs; granddaughters, Kelly Hayes, Clara Jacobs, all of Wells, Maine and Sara Jacobs Gendron (Brian) of Holiday, Fla.; great-granddaughter, Stephanie Hayes of Wells, Maine; three brothers, Joseph B. Creegan, Jr. (Elaine) of Wheaton, Md., Franklin M. Creegan (Julia) of Centreville, Va. and Michael C. Creegan (Joann) of Tarpon Springs, Fla; sister, Alice C. Hensley of Salisbury, N.C.; several nieces, nephews and her many congregation friends.  She was predeceased by sons, Kevin B. McMannis and Andrew C. Hardison; daughter, Mary Margaret McMannis Jacobs; and brothers, Raymond E. Creegan and Allen B. Creegan.
