AIKEN – Funeral service for Patsy Ruth Holaday “Patty” Jones, 77, will be held Wednesday at 2:00 pm. at Midway Independent Methodist Church, Columbia with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Mrs. Jones died Saturday, August 18, 2012. Born in Hattiesburg, Miss., she was the daughter of the late Howard and Mary Lucille Grayson Holaday. She was a Portrait Artist. Surviving are her husband, Robert C. Jones; daughter, Karen L. Cothran of Elgin; son, Lloyd S. Linton of Dahlonega, Ga.; brother, Robert Holaday of Brandon, Miss.; sister, Martha Ann Harwell of Hattiesburg, Miss.; and grandchildren, Alex Linton of Dahlonega, Ga. and Patrick Browning III of Aiken. She was predeceased by her first husband, Lloyd Linton; brother, Howard Holaday; and a daughter, Melanie Linton.
