Obituary of Kenneth Bridgers
CAMDEN – Mr. Bridgers passed on August 5th due to complication of Cancer. He was 69. Graveside service for Kenneth Lucian Bridgers will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The Rev. Dr. Mark Bredholt will officiate. The family will meet at Shoney’s in Lugoff at 8:00 a.m. for breakfast and will receive friends Saturday 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Mr. Bridgers was the husband of the late Lillie Marie Bridgers. Born in Wilson, N.C., he was the son of the late Lucian Elijah and Mavis Ellen Bridgers. He served in the United States Air Force and the United States Army.
Surviving are his son, Kenneth Vincent Bridgers; daughters, Kimberly Bridgers Eppink and Teresa Jayne Bridgers; brother, Stephen Carson Bridgers; sisters, Linda Ruth Roberts, Deborah Ellen Fletcher, and Joy Mavis Joyner; 10 grandchildren; and 7 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a very special nephew.
