CAMDEN – A celebration of life service for William Herman Perry, Sr., 55, will be held Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. Richard Cameron and the Rev. Joe Stines will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2-3 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Mr. Perry passed away August 13, 2013. Born in Camden, he was the son of Lucy Cauthen Perry and the late Herman “Billy” Perry. Mr. Perry was a member of New Life Christian Outreach, and enjoyed working on golf buggies, and also old cars and trucks. Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Brenda Myers Perry; mother, Lucy Perry of Camden; son, William “Billy” Perry, Jr. (Amanda) of Camden; daughter, Abigayle Perry of Camden; granddaughters, Taylor and Makenzie Perry; and sisters, Cheryl Perry Eubanks (Timmy) of Camden, and Donna Perry of Camden. He was predeceased by his father, and maternal grandmother, Louise Cauthen.
