CASSATT – Funeral service for Jimmie Lee Hinson, 66, will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Lake Shore Church of God with burial to follow in Mt. Hebron Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Mr. Hinson died Wednesday, August 1, 2012. Born in Lynchburg, S.C., he was a son of the late Colie Blease Hinson Sr. and Mattie Louise Nesbitt Hinson. Surviving are his children, Sylvia Bradley (Tim McNeely), Jimmy Hinson Jr., Jeffrey Hinson, Brandi Higgenbottom, and Becki Thompson; brothers, James Hinson (Anthea), Frank Hinson, Blease Hinson (Evelyn), and Billy Hinson (Sharon); sisters, Betty Dority (Jessie) and Emma Pressley (Marion); 9 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
