LUGOFF – Funeral service for Paul F. Hornsby, 67, will be held Monday at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The Rev. Todd Horton will officiate. Memorial may be made to the American Lung Association. Mr. Hornsby died Saturday, July 21, 2012. Born in Camden, he was the son of the late Joseph English and Marie Bowers Hornsby. He was a Mason and enjoyed the outdoors. Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Jean Threatt Hornsby; daughter, Angela Suzanne Hayes of Columbia; son, Paul Allan Hornsby of Lugoff; brothers, Joseph Hornsby, Jr. (Mildred), and Michael Hornsby (Linda); sisters, Mary Ruth Watts (Jack) and Sylvia Smith; grandchildren, Allan Joseph Hornsby, Gene Austin Hayes, and Paul Garrett Hayes; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, W.L. Hornsby.
