CLINTON, TENN. - Funeral service for Sylvia A. Shannon, 59, will be held Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Old Fox Hill Cemetery, Lugoff. The family will receive friends Monday, 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Rufus and Ruby Richardson Shannon. Surviving are her sons, Donald Shannon of Elgin, Cecil Shannon of Rembert, and Tony Morgan and his wife, Beth of Elgin; sister, Linda S. Brazell and her husband, Kenneth of Lugoff; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
