ELGIN – A memorial service for Harlis Lamar “Bo” Bickley, 78, will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mr. Bickley, husband of the late Mary Matthews Bickley, died Thursday, June 7, 2012. Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Herbert and Mammie Bickley. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and NASCAR. Surviving are his daughters, Lisa Bickley and Irene Robertson; sons, Jarrett Bickley (Kristie) and Louis Bickley (Donna); sister, Lucy Martin; 7 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers, Virgil Bickley and Clyde Bickley; and sister, Dorothy Sable.
