LUGOFF – A celebration of life service for Sharon Gayle Burriss Ramos will be held Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The family will receive fiends following the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Ramos died Saturday, May 19, 2012. Born in Lugoff, she was a daughter of the late Jim Burriss and Reba Ozment Burriss. Surviving are her husband, Fernando Ramos; daughter, Kimberly Nicole McCathern (Michael Brewster); step-children, Andrea Ramos, Ruth Ramos, Fernando Ramos, Carmen Ramos, Susana Ramos, and Karen Ramos; brothers, Johnnie Burriss (Brenda), Carey Burris (Jan) and Garey Burriss (Nancy); sisters, Jane Burriss; and two grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, James Burriss and Dwayne Burriss.
