LUGOFF – Funeral Services for Geraldine Elm, 65, will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Unity United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Kenneth Carter will officiate. Mrs. Elm was born to eternal life following a short battle with cancer on August 3, 2013, at home surrounded by family and friends. Geraldine was born on July 10, 1948, to Ben and Lizzy Murphy. She attended Jackson High School in Camden, S.C. and was a member of Unity United Methodist Church. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Timothy Elm, Sr.; daughters, Sharon Hayes (Jeffery), Stephanie Peeples, both of Lugoff; sons, Timothy Elm, Jr. (Paula) of Lugoff, Ronald Elm (Christy), Michael Elm (Judy) both of Richmond Hill, GA., James Watkins of N.J.; one sister, Mary Flowers of Camden; special friends, Theodore Allen; 16 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by brothers, Ben Murphy, Jr., and Robert Murphy, Sr.
