SUMTER - Graveside service for Fredrica S. Thrasher, 99, will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in Sumter Cemetery, Sumter. Mrs. Thrasher, wife of the late Thomas L. Thrasher, died Thursday, October 18, 2007. Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Daniel Fredrick and Lula Sandel Stoudenmire. She attended Columbia College and Owned and operated Sumter Shoe Store for 25 years. She continued with Brodie Shoe Department for 25 years. Mrs. Thrasher was an active life-time member of St. James Lutheran Church, president of the circle meeting and treasurer of Suber Circle. She was an active volunteer for Hospice for 12 years, and was a member of YMCA and the American Legion for 50 years. She was predeceased by her sister, Angie McCloud; and brothers, Hubert O’Neil Stoudenmire and Connor D. Stoudenmire. Surviving are her twin nieces, Joan Roberts and Judy Prather; nephew, Dan Stodenmire great-nieces, Adrianna Vollendorf and Angie Helms; great-nephews, Alan Roberts, and Billy Young; great great-nephews, Dale McCaskill, Hunter Young and William Young; and a great great great-niece, Ella Young.
