Obituary of Everlyne Glinski

ELGIN – Funeral service for Everlyne E. Glinski, 84, will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The Rev. Dr. Mark Bredholt will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday 6-7:30 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Tri-County. Mrs. Glinski died Tuesday, April 17, 2012. Born in Johnsonville, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Madie Stone Evans. She enjoyed traveling and loved the years she spent in Idaho and Arizona. Surviving are her husband Robert L. Glinski; daughters, Susan M. Asher (John) of Elgin and Sandra M. Watts (Gary) of Elgin; step-son, Dennis L. Glinski of Pocatello, Idaho; 2 grandchildren, Brian W. Asher and Emily W. Infinger (Jeremy); and a great-grandson, Benjamin Infinger. She was predeceased by brothers, Eugene Wilson Evans and Finis J. Evans; sisters, Gertrude Porter Smith, Gladys Prosser, Miriam Foxworth, and Betty Evans. The family would especially like to thank the staff at The Haven for their loving care of Miss Ebbie and a special thank you to Gloria with Hospice of Tri-County.
