CAMDEN - A celebration of life service for Mary Frances Griswold, 56, will be held Thursday at 4:30 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. The Rev. Dr. Mark Bredholt will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the South Carolina Autism Society or the American Cancer Society. Ms. Griswold died Monday, April 02, 2012. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of Herbert Griswold, and the late Frances Pauline Carroll Griswold. She attended Lander College, Midlands Technical College, the University of South Carolina and MUSC. She retired from Providence Hospital where she was a Registered Respiratory Therapist Supervisor and also flew for Life Reach Services for Providence Hospital. Mary was a member of Malvern Hill Baptist Church, enjoyed gardening and was an avid reader. Surviving is her son, Darius Raeisi (Sri) of Columbia; father, Herbert Griswold of Camden; brother, Mark Griswold (Karen) of Camden; sister, Margaret Griswold of Camden; and nephews, Steven and Jack. She was predeceased by a nephew, Michael Griswold.
