CHRISTOPHER HUCKLBERRY LUGOFF – Funeral service for Christopher Scott “Huck” Huckleberry, 49, will be held Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. Joe Stines will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday 4-6 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Ladies’ Ministry of El-Bethel Faith Community Church. Huck died on Friday, March 30, 2012 at Georgetown Medical University in Washington, D.C. Born in Gray, Ga., he was a son of the late Vernon Buck Huckleberry and Ferrell Lou Tate Huckleberry. He was employed with International Paper in Eastover for over 29 years. He was a member of El-Bethel Faith Community Church. Huck was an avid sports fan and enjoyed hunting, fishing and grilling. Surviving are his wife, Melissa Bowen Huckleberry; children, Rebecca and Tracy; brothers, Dennis Vaughn, Michael Vaughn, and Danny Vaughn; and a multitude of friends.
