LUGOFF – A memorial service for Virgie N. Belger Hubler, 79, will be held on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Lugoff, First Baptist Church. The Rev. David Robinson and the Rev. Greg Sweet will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Lugoff First Baptist Church or KershawHealth Hospice. Mrs. Hubler died Thursday, March 29, 2012. Born in Beaufort County, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Horace L. and Viola Johnson Belger. She was an artist and a member of Lugoff First Baptist Church. She was devoted Christian and loved her family dearly. Surviving are her husband, Gerald E. Hubler; son, Donald E. Hubler (Cathy) of Huntsville, Ala.; daughter, Rebecca Hubler of Lugoff; brothers, Melvin Belger of Michigan, Don Belger of Lugoff, and Roger Belger of Texas; sister, Marie Reynolds of Lugoff; and grandchildren, Matthew, Nicholas, and Nathan. She was predeceased by brothers, Marvin Belger, Earl Belger, and Raymond Belger; and sister, Eunice Nix.
