LUGOFF – A memorial service for Gordon Sean Mobley, 45, will be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Rowan Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Phil McCoy will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at their home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Mr. Mobley died Sunday, March 11, 2012. Born in Tampa, Fla., he was the son of Jessica Willis Chase. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed dirt bike riding, fishing, hunting and watching sports with his two sons. He loved his family and his animals, “Nikki”, “Augie”, and “Rocket”. Surviving are his wife of 18 years his best friend and soul mate, Kimberly C. Mobley; loving mother, Jessica Chase of Lugoff; devoted sons, Trent Thomas Mobley and Mason Gordon Mobley; grandmother, Evelyn Faries; uncles, Vaughn T. Willis and Gary R. Willis; in-laws, Marybeth and Butler Whitfield; cousins, Austin and Stephanie Willis and baby son Knox, Alex Willis, Aaron Willis, Mike and Debbie Willis, Jim Willis, Michelle Butterfield, , Terri and Mike Ray, extended families, Nathaniel Williamson and Rob McDaniels, and many friends who enjoyed Sean’s love for life and humor.
