Lugoff – Funeral service for Frances Elizabeth Godwin Mann, 86, will be held Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Cedar Creek Baptist Church, Bishopville. The Rev. Greg Sweet will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Lugoff First Baptist Church or Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund. Mrs. Mann, wife of the late Marcus Mann, Sr., died Saturday, March 3, 2012. Born in Camden, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Lillie Scott Godwin. She was a member of Lugoff First Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her son, Marcus Mann, Jr. of Lake Wateree; grandchildren, Marcus Mann III (Jill) of Camden and Caroline Gross (Shelby) of Camden; and great-grandchildren, Kelley Morris, Mamie Morris, Rush Morris, Colemann Gross, and Manning Gross; and great great-grandchildren, Ava Morris and Tucker Konzal. She was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Mann; sisters, Bessie Burr, Maggie Pope, Daisy Farmer, and May Watson; and brothers, Tommy Godwin and Henry Godwin.
