Obituary of Charles Branham
ELGIN – Funeral service for Charles Von “Bo” Branham, 63, will be held Thursday at 12:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Union Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Ken Jackson and the Rev. Tom Schoonmaker will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Mr. Branham died peacefully on Tuesday, February 21, 2012. Born in Camden, he was a son of Millie Gilbreath Branham and the late Frank Willis Branham. He served in the United States Navy and received an honorable discharge in 1972. He was a foreman with Daniel Construction and enjoyed gardening, NASCAR, college sports especially USC football.
Surviving are his mother, Millie Branham; son, Ryan Branham of Lugoff; sisters, Telina B. West of Lugoff, Barbara B. Schoonmaker (Tom) of Moncks Corner, Carol B. Smith (Ronnie) of Lugoff; brother, David B. Branham (Peggy) of Lugoff; granddaughter, Mallory Branham; his loving companion of 24 years, Marilyn J. Collins; and other extended family.
