LUGOFF – Funeral service for Kelvin Scott Ray, 38, will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Hardshell Cemetery. The Rev. Joe Stines will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Kelvin died Friday, January 6, 2012. Born in Camden, he was the son of Sherrie Athea Ray. He enjoyed video games and collecting comic books. Surviving are his mother, Sherrie Ray of Lugoff; aunt, Patsy Ray of Camden; and uncle, David Ray (Idell) of Lugoff. He was predeceased by grandparents, Henry Edward and Mary Corbett Ray; and an uncle, Roger Ray.
