LUGOFF – A celebration of life service for Barbara Ann Watt Montgomery, 68, will be held Friday at 12:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The Rev. Dr. Mark Bredholt will officiate. Memorials may be made to the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Montgomery, wife of the late Patrick Edward Montgomery, died Monday, December 12, 2011. Born in Peoria, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Wayne and Helen Kaurinas Watt. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed playing Bingo. She was an avid Chicago Bears fan. Mrs. Montgomery had a passion for classical music and adored her granddaughter, Jaka. Surviving are her sons, Christopher A. Wheeler and Jason Edward Montgomery; daughter, Rebekah Joanne Montgomery; brother, Wayne Watt Jr.; and a granddaughter, Jaka Tyson.
